With the mindset of giving back to society on the basis of Buddhist teachings, the volunteers of Guan Yin Citta, Singapore came to Boon Lay on the 3rd and 4th of February in 2018. Their aim is to help members of society who are in need, maximising their humble contributions to distribute free vegetarian food to the residents. The recipients could feel the care and friendliness of the volunteers and some even bared their hearts, unburdening themselves of life’s struggles. The volunteers were very grateful to have gained the trust and support of the residents and hope that they will be able to send love to even more residents in future.
