Since aeons ago, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have been embarking on the vessel of kindness to save all sentient beings, bringing the magnificent and mystical Buddhism teachings to the human realm. As dedicated followers, we should honour and show our gratitude for the great compassion, great mercy and the boundless spirit of altruism of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
On commemorative days and the birthdays of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the practice centre would be open till after midnight. This is to give everyone an opportunity to offer the First Incense at 12am and pray to Bodhisattva to grant their wishes. Offering the First Incense on the birthday of Bodhisattvas is an efficacious and grand event. Hence, it never fails to draw crowds of believers to pray for good fortune and for their wishes to come true.
