THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LACKING PREDESTINED AFFINITY AND HAVING AFFINITY THAT HAS YET TO COME
Caller: Is there a difference where one is said to have no predestined affinity as compared to one’s affinity has yet to come?
Master Jun Hong Lu: They are different for sure! Though it is said, ‘Guan Yin Bodhisattva is not able to help sentient beings who have no predestined affinity’, this is neither an absolute term in logic nor a circumstance that lasts the duration of one’s lifetime. Essentially, it means the person may not have the affinity at this moment in time. Though so, that does not necessarily mean that they will never have the affinity in their lifetime.< Words of Wisdom
