My deepest gratitude to Master Lu!
Hello everyone!
I’m a Buddhist practitioner from Singapore. I’ve been practising Guan Yin Citta for six years. Today I’d like to share with you my testimony.
Before I learned Buddhism, I didn’t understand the law of cause and effect. I loved eating seafood. The elder members of my family were also involved in the acts of killing. When my father was young, he reared pigs, sold fish and killed many animals. Master Lu said that acts of killing would affect the three generations of a family.
My family has already suffered from the retribution. In the three generations of my family, eight had passed away, five of them had died of terminal illnesses, and three suffered from mental illnesses and had committed suicide. Nobody is spared from the workings of karma.
I was very unlucky before I practice Buddhism and I was divorced twice. I have three children, and two of them had mental disorder. At the lowest ebb of my life, I suffered from depression. I had insomnia and was heavily dependent on sleeping pills every night. I even had suicidal thoughts. If I hadn’t come across the Guan Yin Citta, I could have already left this world, just like my late family members.
As my family was involved in the acts of killing, my son has been hyperactive since the age of two. He did not like studying, and he was violent. His condition got worse as he grew older. Once, he hit his classmate so badly that it caused serious injury to the victim. Even the psychologist was unable to cure him. His school principal said that if he hit others again, he would be handed over to the police. When he lost his temper, he would hurt himself. I felt so helpless and distressed.
After practising the Guan Yin Citta, the Bodhisattvas kindly granted me an opportunity to call through to Master Lu’s totem reading program. Master Lu said that there was a spirit of a big animal on my son’s head. Also, he was occupied by a spirit of my aborted child. No wonder my son behaved like animals and I did have an abortion. What Master Lu said was so true.
Over the past few years, I have persisted in reciting Little Houses and released fish for my son. I also transferred to him some of the merits accumulated from volunteering in Master Lu’s public talks. His condition has improved significantly. He used to hate school, but now he is interested in going to school. In the past, he never scored more than 10 points in any test.
However, for the past few years, he miraculously passed every exam. This year, he got fifth place in the exam and was offered a government scholarship! His teacher praised him and no longer criticized him. He also worked part-time during school holidays to support the family. His boss appreciated him very much. I used to think that he could never be able to stand on his own feet and I would have to take care of him for a lifetime. I can’t believe my son has had such a change! I am so grateful to the compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva. Guan Yin Citta is true and real!
In January this year, my son suddenly had difficulty urinating. I was so anxious and took him to see the doctor immediately. The doctor could not make a definite diagnosis. The next day, I was fortunate enough to get through Master Lu’s totem program.
Master Lu pointed out that my son had dirty thoughts while watching beautiful girls on-line, which caused him to be occupied by the spirits. He also did masturbation that led to obstruction of the urinary tract. After returning home, I couldn’t help questioning my son. He admitted that he was watching women on-line and did masturbation. He said that he would not dare to do it again. What Master Lu said was very accurate!
I offered 24 Little Houses and vowed to release 500 fish for my son as instructed by Master Lu. I also transferred to him some of the merits that I accumulated from introducing Buddhism to others. Soon, he recovered! I am grateful to the Guanyin Bodhisattva and Master Lu for their compassionate blessings!
A few years ago, my husband had an affair and we divorced. We agreed to sell the house. I moved out with my two children and rented a house. The rent was 1,700 SGD per month. I needed to buy a two-bedroom house with one living room urgently. However, I hadn’t worked for ten years since I got married, so I didn’t have any savings.
I asked help from a manager of the Singapore Public Housing Authority. She said that I could only afford to buy a house with one room and one living room as I was only given 160,000 Singapore dollars by my ex-husband. But she said that she would do her best to help me.
Thanks to the blessing of Bodhisattvas, in less than three months, with the help of the manager, I was granted a new apartment that others would need to wait for three years. The market value of this two-bedroom apartment was more than 200,000 SGD, but I was allowed to buy it for only 163,800 SGD!
What a surprise! The money I had was just enough to purchase the house. I never dreamed in my life that I would have my own home. I am so grateful to Guan Yin Bodhisattva who has been helping me all the time!
My father suffered a karmic retribution a few years ago. He had a fall and suffered from a cerebral stroke. He couldn’t move, and he was so confused that he couldn’t recognize any family members. The doctor said that his heart beat was very slow and so he would pass away any time. I also dreamed about my father telling me that he would be leaving the world soon. I knelt in front of the Buddhist altar and prayed to the Guan Yin Bodhisattva not to let my father die so soon. Then a miracle happened. My father slowly recovered, and eventually, he could get up and walk!
I am grateful to the Guan Yin Bodhisattva who is so compassionate and responsive. She blessed my father by extending his lifespan till now!
Bodhisattvas do not interfere with the law of cause and effect. Over the past six years, I have insisted on taking a vegetarian diet, performing recitation, making vows, and releasing fish. I’ve been volunteering in the Guan Yin Citta practice centre and distributing Buddhist in the street. Wherever I go, I would introduce Guan Yin Citta to people whom I meet. I’ve also actively participated and volunteered in Master Lu’s public talks. Over time, my life has changed. Bodhisattvas help me solve numerous challenges and have all my wishes fulfilled.
The merits accumulated by promoting Buddhism and helping others also serve as a protection for my family members. It would be impossible for me to be so fortunate if I made last minute frantic efforts in times of distress. Master Lu once told me that because of the karmic obstacles passed down from my family, I need to work two or three times harder than others. I am grateful that in the past six years, no matter how many hindrances I encountered, I have remained firm in my faith in Guan Yin Bodhisattva, Master Lu!
Dear Buddhist friends, we should cherish our affinity with the Guan Yin Citta, follow the teachings of Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master Lu. We should diligently perform recitation, repent, perform moral and spiritual cultivation to eliminate karmic obstacles. We can change our destiny by following the Three Golden Buddhist Practices of the Guan Yin Citta “Performing recitation, Making Vows and Releasing fish”. I hope that everyone would persist in spiritual cultivation regardless of how many obstacles you encounter! We must also introduce this good dharma door to other people so that they can be free of sufferings and enjoy happiness. By doing so we are accumulating merits for ourselves!
My deepest gratitude to the Greatly Merciful and Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva! Grateful to the selfless and compassionate Master Jun Hong Lu who brought me such a good Dharma Door! I vow that I will be focused on practicing Guan Yin Citta, respecting my master and teacher, and help Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master Lu to carry forward the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door and I will never retreat!
If there is any impropriate remarks in my sharing today, I ask for forgiveness to Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Dharma Protector Bodhisattvas!
