Caller: Nowadays, pregnant ladies can choose the date for their caesarean procedure. They would like to enquire if it is alright for them to choose the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month or Bodhisattvas’ birthdays for the procedure?
Master Jun Hong Lu: Yes, they may do so. The first or fifteenth day of the lunar month are indeed the better choices.
Caller: What about scheduling it on Bodhisattva’s/Buddha’s birthdays?
Master Jun Hong Lu: This is rather “sensitive”. I would say the best dates remain the first or fifteenth day of the lunar month.
