DO NOT SEEK THRILLS

Master Jun Hong Lu: Humans are not made to experience too much thrills. Each time the body is stimulated, parts of the soul leave the body. When the thrills become too intense for some people, their souls would leave their bodies indefinitely. Although the soul would be able to find its way back, the speed of it returning to the body would be very slow.

For example, a shot of anaesthesia would cause our entire body to be numb and some people even lose consciousness. When we finally recover from it, our thinking would be obstructed and significantly slower. We would also react slower. All these are caused by the stimulation of the anaesthesia to our body.

Therefore, we cannot allow ourselves to experience too much stimulation. There have been cases of intelligent people suffering from sluggish reactions as a result of frequent exposure to thrills.

In life, we should avoid all kinds of stimulants. How do we do that? It is very simple. Do not be greedy, hateful or ignorant. The problem still revolves around these three words. But sadly, it is precisely these three negative traits that many still fail to eliminate.
