Caller: Master Lu, next Saturday will be the Lantern Festival (Yuanxiao Festival). From the Buddhist point of view, which sutras or mantras should we recite more on this day?
Master Jun Hong Lu: The Lantern Festival is traditionally a day of reunion. I hope that everyone can recite additional Heart Sutra (Xin Jing) to gain wisdom.
Caller: Up to how many times we should recite the Heart Sutra?
Master Jun Hong Lu: As many as you wish. The more you recite the Heart Sutra and the Great Compassion Mantra (Da Bei Zhou), the better.
