QUESTION PERTAINING TO THE RECITATION OF THE RU YI BAO LUN WANG TUO LUO NI AND THE GREAT COMPASSION MANTRA ON CHONG YANG FESTIVAL
Caller: Master has previously said that on the day of Chong Yang Festival, we can recite 49 times of the Ru Yi Bao Lun Wang Tuo Luo Ni and 3 times of the Great Compassion Mantra for our wishes to come true. May I ask, is the recitation of these two mantras the same as reciting the Cundi Dharani, where merits will be expended for wishes to come true?
Master Jun Hong Lu: Not necessarily, even if you do not have merits, when you recite these mantras, they will increase your merits. What matters is the number of recitations you perform – the more you recite, the greater your merits are.
