A VIRTUOUS CYCLE IS SET IN MOTION WHEN ONE IS FILLED WITH ENERGY AND VITALITY
Caller: Master, if a spiritual cultivator is full of vitality and he feels very energetic all the time, how can he convert this energy to benefit his spiritual endeavour?
Master Jun Hong Lu: In fact, if he is full of vitality, his energy and spirit will continue to increase. In reality, as long as the energy is positive, there is no need for him to effect any “conversion” whatsoever, as such energy comes from within.
When such energy is expended, there will be more that he can tap into from within him. There is no need for him to effectuate a ‘conversion’ because it is an instinctive process – like in the case where one’s consciousness is converted into wisdom known as: ‘turning knowledge into wisdom’.
There is nothing bad about having a lot of energy that is positive. After all, it is something that is beneficial to your health as we are not talking about “stale” or “yin” (negative) energy here. To cite a simple example, while performing good deeds, you feel that you have an endless supply of strength in you, don’t you think the good things that you do will come back to you? Hence, wouldn’t you regard this as a virtuous cycle in motion?
