Time : Sunday 2.00pm-3.30pm (fortnightly)
Venue : Singapore Oriental Radio Practice Centre
On 26 May 2019, Guan Yin Citta (Singapore) held yet another fortnightly English Sharing Session at the practice centre featuring many inspiring and enriching items on the lineup.
The keynote sharing examined the significance of the Dragon Boat Festival from a metaphysical point of view, enlightening the audience about the things to do on this festive day.
Through this session, the audience also learned more about the legends surrounding the Dragon Boat Festival. One such sharing capitalised on the legend of Qu Yuan to expound on the benefits of being loyal and patriotic, emphasising these virtues as a prerequisite of a good disciple following Bodhisattva and Master Lu. Another sharing shed light about the importance of filial piety. An important takeaway was about how performing recitation for one’s parents may be a greater act of filial piety than human endeavours such as pouring them a cup of tea.
If you wish to understand more about Master Lu’s latest discourses, learn to apply Buddhist teachings into our everyday lives, imbibe yourself with more positive energy and blessings from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, we welcome you!
Join us in the next English Sharing Session to embark on a wondrous expedition of wisdom and positivity!
