Question:
On 12 September 2018 when I was at the Guan Yin Citta Centre paying respect to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, I saw that the statues of the Bodhisattvas on the altar suddenly radiated with a brilliant golden light that enveloped the entire altar. Not long after, the Bodhisattva conveyed a thought message to me; “Attention disciple, in a moment, the Dharma protectors will take you on a trip down in hell.” After I have paid my respect to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and returned home to relax, I felt that my whole body became light. My soul was lifted away by the Dharma protectors, and not long after I arrived at the entrance of the underworld.
The Hell of Eye Shock: Men and women who use their eyes to commit sexual misconduct will be punished here.
At the entrance of this hell were two guards, and they opened the gates to let me in. I was walking on an empty high ground, while below was a huge flat land. The environment was dark and chilly, and there were many offenders (both men and women). Some of them looked like they were in a trance while others looked like they were in a lot of pain. Up in the sky of this hell, there were many torture instruments. When I looked more closely, the torture devices looked like different variations of books, tablet computers, smartphones, computers (both modern and old like those back in 1998), and televisions (both modern and old). These torture instruments were floating around the offenders’ heads.
These instruments were used to punish the souls for their lustful thoughts. In the Human Realm, people think that it’s a kind of entertainment watching pornography, but they don’t know that if these negative karmic seeds were sowed into their mind, they would eventually mature into a negative karmic fruit. As it’s accumulated every day, this negative karma will eventually mature. If the person doesn’t perform wholesome deeds while they were alive, then they will be transferred here. Only by reciting sutras, paying respect to Buddha, performing many wholesome and meritorious deeds, and repenting and reforming themselves will they be able to halt the maturation of this negative karma.
There was a middle-aged male offender, and there was a notebook floating above his head. His face first showed signs of intoxication, but afterwards, when the notebook opened, laser beams shot out and penetrated the offender’s eyes. He then shrieked and howled in pain. He was shocked to the point that he was frozen as the electricity from the lasers coursed through his eyes and throughout his entire body. The laser beams were maintained for a long time, like for approximately 7-8 minutes. When the laser beams switched off, the offender became unconscious. His whole body was fried, smoking and left on the ground. The notebook then floated away.
The Dharma protector explained, “sins are born from the mind! Whatever tool that you used to commit sexual misconduct while being alive (such as computers, notebooks or porn magazines), after you die, they will be recreated by your consciousness to punish you. These souls had consistently been watching these unwholesome things, their unwholesome deeds have been accumulating over a long period of time due to these pornographic videos or books. However, because while they were alive, they hadn’t committed too many deeds of sexual misconduct with their bodies, they were transferred to this hell.” He then led me to the elevator that took me to the Human Realm. After I entered, the lift door closed. When it opened, I woke up and returned to the Human Realm.
On 17 September 2018 when I was at the Guan Yin Citta Centre paying respect to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, I saw the Buddhist altar being enveloped by a gentle wave of cloud and mist. Then, in the air, a display appeared which expand into the size of the whole altar. Then I suddenly received a thought message sent by the Dharma protector, “Attention disciple, you must share your observation of the hell realm with the living. I will first take you to the Hell associated with Negative Verbal Karma for you to see.” Not long afterwards, my consciousness entered into a half-awakened dreamlike state.
The Hell associated with negative verbal karma: People who have committed deeds of harsh speech, divisive tongue, defaming good advisors or sowing dissension between people will be punished here.
A female soul was forced to kneel on the ground, her hands tied behind her back, and her face showing an unwillingness to submit. The enforcement officer used tools to pry open her mouth forcefully and pulled her tongue out so violently that it almost tore. She started crying from the pain and was unable to struggle free as she was locked in position by another enforcement officer. Afterwards, the enforcement officer took a stake and pinned the tip of her tongue to the ground. The offender was made to kneel while her tongue was pinned to the ground, hands unable to move and tied behind her back, and was unable to speak. Many offenders received their punishment in this manner.
An offender was forcefully tied up on a platform and he shouted and cried in terror. An enforcement officer took a torture instrument which had been heated to red hot, and in the same way as before, he violently pulled out the offender’s tongue and used the instrument to slice it off. The man wept and cried in agony.
The enforcement officer said, “when this man was alive, he was fond of making dirty jokes and making things up to speak harshly and offensive towards Buddhists. These are heavy negative verbal karma. He was sent to hell after his death. Now that his tongue is detached, let’s see how he can commit negative verbal karma again.”
Each day, the offender’s tongue would regenerate and regrow to its original form, and then the enforcement officer would repeat the same punishment until the offender’s time of imprisonment is up.
Not long after, I woke up.
Master Jun Hong Lu’s reply:
This person really is incredible; everything she said is real. It’s really scary. That’s why prestigious and virtuous monastic or lay practitioners don’t speak casually. When you go to a temple and meet with a senior monk or nun, if you speak and explain a lot of things to them, they will reply with the words, “Amitabha.” They will not speak a lot about worldly matters.
Karma are created when the mouth opens. The suffering is unfathomable. Do not regret when it’s too late. Become awakened earlier. There’s nothing else to say. Also, don’t watch pornography. We are human; we mustn’t watch animalistic things, it’s very bad and disgusting. After a person’s level of spirituality has reached a higher level, they will gradually and naturally become uninterested in those kinds of things. Animals don’t wear clothes, why don’t you look at them instead? If we humans were lowered by a level, for example, if all of us became sheep, then it’s natural for a sheep to look at other sheep. As a human, will you be interested in watching sheep? Everybody must understand these principles. Don’t fool around.
