In the morning of 28 August 2018, in a daze, I heard a voice saying, “I’m Living Buddha Ji Gong. In accordance with Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s instructions, I’m here to take you to the Underworld. Don’t be afraid.” Then I dazedly followed Ji Gong Bodhisattva to a place in the Underworld, and there seemed to be a large city in front of us. Two very tall guards, as tall as the city gate, used their weapons to block us, saying, “Who are you? This is a prohibited place in the Hell Realm. No trespassing.” Ji Gong Bodhisattva emitted rays of golden light and said, “I’m Ji Gong Bodhisattva. By order of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, I’m here to take this Buddhist disciple of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door to tour this hell, so that on her return to the human world, she can warn people about the karmic retribution of amassing wealth in the name of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, and the consequences of insincerely reciting Little Houses.”
Afterwards, the guards opened the gates and allowed us to pass through. I followed Ji Gong Bodhisattva along a narrow path. The Underworld is similar to the world we live in, but the Underworld looks like night-time in our world. There’s no light. Ji Gong Bodhisattva was constantly emitting a golden aura, and I followed him to higher ground. Then we stopped. He pointed at a very modern-looking building in the distance. It was approximately 30-40 storeys high, and nearby, more buildings were being constructed. It was a new site planned to accommodate those who took advantage of Guan Yin Citta to amass wealth and those who carelessly recited Little Houses. After they die, they will be sent to hell and live here.
I took a look. It was different from the other places I observed in the Hell Realm. I had previously been to the Unintermittent Hell, the hell associated with sexual misconduct, the hell associated with defaming Buddhism and the hell associated with karma of speech. When I returned to the Human Realm, I felt sick for a few hours. But this hell didn’t seem to be scary, why was it considered a prohibited place in the Hell Realm? I also didn’t see any offenders being punished in this area.
Ji Gong Bodhisattva smiled. He waved the fan he was holding, and a wave of golden light shone forth, then a display appeared before me. “Take a look at the offenders that are currently residing in that tall building.” There I saw many small rooms with many offenders being imprisoned inside. I was shocked, and I asked Ji Gong Bodhisattva, “Why are there so many Buddhist monks?” A majority of them were monks, while a few of them were ordinary people like me.
Ji Gong Bodhisattva replied, “Those who recite Little Houses carelessly are cheating the heavenly beings and spirits. The Little Houses were passed down from the heavens and the Underworld; it manifests the power of Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s great vows. It is a Dharma item of Buddhism, yet ordinary people only see it as a piece of yellow paper, and they don’t properly recite it. Some monks or lay people casually recite the sutras only a few times before dotting up the entire Little House. They also take advantage of the free Dharma items and make money from them, like selling Bodhisattva pendants, Little Houses, protective amulets, Bodhisattva portraits and prayer beads online. This hell is where they will end up undergoing their karmic retribution.”
Not long after, a voice resonated from the sky and said, “It’s time, light the fire!” Then suddenly, flames appeared out of nowhere and engulfed the entire tall building. I saw all the offenders that were locked up inside the rooms screaming in horror. The offenders were being burnt alive inside; it was pitiful and terrifying. It was unbearable to watch, so I said to Ji Gong Bodhisattva, “I don’t want to watch anymore.” The Bodhisattva then closed his fan, and the display disappeared.
We could hear the screams from afar, and tears welled up in my eyes. There, the building went up in flames every couple of hours. The length of imprisonment for the offenders varies according to the degree of their offences committed in the Human Realm. Some of them were imprisoned for a year, while some were imprisoned for 20 or 30 years. Every day, they must bear the punishment of being burnt alive until their sentence is over.
The Bodhisattva saw that I was upset, so he told the enforcement officers to take me back. I followed the officers to the elevator that connects this place to the human world. The Underworld is very modern. I pressed the number ‘1’ and the elevator ascended. When the doors opened, I woke up.
Question:
On 22 October 2018, after I finished paying respect to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas at the Guan Yin Citta Centre I sat down to recite sutras. Soon, my consciousness began to enter into a deep slumber, and my soul was taken by Ji Gong Bodhisattva to a place in the Hell Realm.
The Hell of Burning Flame is specifically for those who insincerely recite Little Houses and amass wealth in the name of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. After their death, they will be sent here and punished.

I arrived on high ground and saw many modern-looking buildings and some new buildings being constructed by the Underworld officers down below. It was recently built to accommodate offenders who took advantage of Guan Yin Citta to amass wealth and those who carelessly recited Little Houses. After they die, they will be sent to hell and live here.

I went inside one of the buildings. It was pitch dark and had row after row of prison cells that imprisoned around dozens of offenders. There were no doors outside the prison cells. Instead, an array of metal bars stood on the outside of each cell. I went into one cell and found an offender howling in pain on the ground. His body was charred black and his face was beyond recognition. Here, all the offenders would be set ablaze every couple of hours. The length of their imprisonment varies according to the degree of their offences committed in the Human Realm. Some of them were imprisoned for a year, while some were imprisoned for 20 or 30 years. Every day, they must bear the punishment of being burnt alive until their sentence is over.
One of the offenders communicated telepathically with me. He said, “I died in a car crash. When I was alive, I was constantly badmouthing Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, but my knowledge of the Buddha-Dharma was shallow. I didn’t know that Guan Yin Citta was passed down by Guan Yin Bodhisattva. I committed many unwholesome deeds, and I was ignorant of Buddhist precepts. Please show some mercy, have mercy on me. I beg Guan Yin Bodhisattva and the Dharma-protecting Bodhisattva to help me relay my words to the human world so that my sentence can be reduced and I can be set free from hell and not be reborn as an animal.”
Then, an offender from another prison cell communicated with me. He said, “I’m a Buddhist monk from country X, my cultivation was insufficient. I didn’t know that those items were Buddhist Dharma items passed down from heaven. When I died, I was sent to hell. As I had recited Buddhist scriptures and done meritorious deeds when I was alive, my sentence is relatively short. I may be reborn into a family that has an affinity with Buddhism. But every day, I have to endure the pain of being burnt, and it’s unbearable. I repent every day. You’re a disciple of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, could you please plead for me? I know I was wrong and regret what I have done. I pray for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas’ mercy and that they grant me succour.”
Seeing this, I cried and choked with sobs. I bowed and bid farewell to the offender, and I went to the elevator and returned to the human world.
Master Jun Hong Lu’s reply:
I’ve said many times that you mustn’t commit deeds of verbal misconduct. Those who do will descend into hell. In the past, many people sold Little Houses. Some Buddhist monks dotted up the entire Little House even though they had only recited the Great Compassion Mantra once. They knew the consequences only after they passed away.
The Hell Realm is very painful. You must learn to be aware of the consequences of your actions; everything you do now will affect your future. Just like people who smoke; do they know that they will get lung cancer when they are older? Many people were indulged in drinking when they were young; do they know they will develop liver cancer later? This is how things work. When you scold others, get ready to be scolded by others one day. You must be careful, and you mustn’t live recklessly. Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is getting better; the number of practitioners is increasing. You know when you think about it.
