Time : Sunday 4.15pm-5.45pm (fortnightly)
Venue : Singapore Oriental Radio Practice Centre
Topic of Discussion : The objective of Buddhist Practice and cultivation: What constitutes a resolute and unwavered mind

On 17 November 2019 @ 415pm a group of English speaking Buddhist friends gathered in Singapore Guan Yin Citta Practice Centre for the launch of its first session of Buddhism in Plain Term Group Study (conducted in English).

The first class focused on a very interesting topic – “The objective of Buddhist Practice and cultivation: What constitutes a resolute and unwavered mind”. Attendees were very engaged and there were a lot of interactivity in the session. They eagerly shared their life experiences on how through understanding the vital truths and reasonings mentioned in this chapter has helped them stayed steadfast in Buddhism practice in the face of life’s adversities.

Discussion took on an even more interesting turn when the phrase “All prayers will be answered” were presented. Attendees commented that for the first time they see this phrase in a new light through Master Lu’s wisdom  : “whatever is lacking in one’s destiny, when you sow the seed of cause in this life and you are able to reap the reward speedily through Bodhisattva’s blessings, this is the true meaning of All Prayers Will Be Answered”.

Quotes from an attendee,

I am really glad that finally Guan Yin Citta Singapore had kickstart this class. Though I have also attended the Chinese class, but to me it’s a totally different experience to be able to understand the teachings in English“.
