REPENT EARNESTLY FOR PRAYERS TO BE EFFICACIOUS

Recite the Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance (LIFO) diligently if your prayers go unanswered for a long time. The more remorseful you are, the more efficacious your prayers will be.
