A QUESTION REGARDING THE EXTENSION IN FULFILLING VOWS
Question: Recently, as soon as my husband gets home, I would have a headache and experience extreme discomfort in my body. As I keep having the dreams of different karmic creditors, I am worried that if my karmic obstacles come to fruition, my physical strength and ability might not be able to cope with the situation. So I would like to extend the deadline of the vow that I made for my husband. How should I go about it?
Answer: Pray to Bodhisattva, “I, xxx, an ordinary mortal, have overestimated my abilities. Bodhisattva, please forgive me. I will make a new vow…” But, once you make a new vow, you must not break it again.
