We can take any road in the world, but never the road to ruin.
We can choose any path, but never the one that leads us astray.
Despite the many obstacles along the path in life, we must walk uphill with our heads held high. In this way, we are able to steer clear of numerous winding and dangerous small paths. As long as we are diligent in practising Buddhism, we can make headway however long the path may be.
Practising Buddhism is not just about persistence. What is more important is that we must be heading in the right direction.
在人间，
什么路都可以走，唯独绝路不能走；
什么路都可以选择，唯独歧途不能选择。
人生的道路很挫折，
但是我们要昂首阔步地走上坡，
你会避开很多弯路、小路、险路。
精进学佛，再长的路也能走过。
学佛不仅仅在于持续，
更重要在于保持正确的学佛方向。
