On 27 November 2018, Guan Ping Bodhisattva instructed me to go to the Underworld to watch trials of two disciples of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door.
That day in the Underworld, there were three Kings of Hell presiding over the trials. As the realm of the Underworld is vast, I will give a brief description. One of the Kings of Hell is specifically responsible for dealing with Guan Yin Citta’s matters. He is in charge of the greater hells, and he has delivered judgements over the life and death of beings from the Human Realm for nearly a thousand years. He would deal with any cases that are related to the disciples of Guan Yin Citta or beings who are going to descend to one of the greater hells.
The second King of Hell manages the Underworld of Country X. Cases involving offenders from Country X, beings to be reborn in the Human Realm or be transferred to the lesser hells would be tried by him. (The greater hells mete out punishments to all offenders from around the world, whereas the lesser hells are country-specific and the trials are heard by the Kings of Hell of their respective countries.)
The third King of Hell comes from country Y. The Underworld of each country has its own telecommunication system. If there are any cases that involve offenders who come from countries not under their jurisdiction, the Underworlds would liaise with each other, and the offenders would be transferred to the Underworld of their countries of residence. This is quite similar to the system practised by the law enforcement departments in the Human Realm.
Country Y’s King of Hell pointed at one of the offenders and signalled him to confess honestly.
Offender A said, “My name is XXX of [Name of the country] (to be kept confidential). I’m an overseas disciple of Master Jun Hong Lu and I was an assistant person in charge of one of the Guan Yin Citta centres. I was wrong! Guan Yin Bodhisattva, please save me, I know that I was wrong! I have to bear with the constant pain of swallowing molten lava and having my entire body burnt to the core in the Unintermittent Hell. I didn’t listen to the Master nor my fellow practitioner’s advice. I was wrong for amassing wealth by illegitimate means.” The offender was crying incessantly.
“I sold Little Houses, portraits of the Bodhisattvas (A3 and A4 size), Guan Yin Bodhisattva pendants, blessed prayer beads and Buddhist books. I collected travel money from fellow Buddhists on the pretext of supporting the Master’s Dharma Talks. I turned a deaf ear to the Master’s advice that one must not conceive of any selfish thoughts and work for their own ends when performing meritorious deeds. As all the prayer materials are meant for free distribution at the Dharma conventions, I took this opportunity to collect large quantities of them.”
The King of Hell then showed scenes of the offender queuing up to collect large quantities of free Dharma items. He packed them in large luggage and brought them back to his home country. Then he sold them to fellow Buddhists illicitly, lying to them that the proceeds therefrom would be donated to the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door Headquarters for charitable purposes. He also used the computer to forge receipts from the Headquarters, inflating the original amount of several thousands to hundreds of thousands to cheat others.
Offender A said, “On the surface, I appeared to be very diligent and I constantly encouraged others to practise Buddhism and recite sutras. I also helped others frequently. But in secret, I had another online account to do business without the knowledge of others. When I was alive, a fellow practitioner once dreamt that I was walking downwards to a very dark place. He managed to get through to the Master’s radio program. The Master accused me of amassing wealth illicitly. The fellow practitioner asked me if that was the case, but I denied it.”
“I was unhappy with the fellow practitioner who notified the chief person in charge of the Guan Yin Citta Centre. After I got reprimanded by the person in charge, I became angry. I quit practising Buddhism and reciting sutras. I didn’t let my wife know about it because she was very devoted. I pretended nothing had happened, but in secret, I started to slander the Master and defamed Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. Subsequently, I died of a heart attack. I used to have a heart problem I was cured after practising Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door.”
The King of Hell then showed some related scenes on the display. The offender was protected by Bodhisattvas and Dharma protectors when he was reciting scriptures. The foreign spirits that occupied his body left him temporarily after receiving the Little Houses offered by him. After he quit practising the Dharma Door and recitation of sutras, the disgruntled foreign spirits formed a patch of dark energy and entered his chest. I could see a small black foreign spirit constantly kicking at his heart, which triggered his heart disease relapse that took his life. After taking its revenge, the spirit left the dead body.
The King of Hell said, “Every injustice has its perpetrator and every debt its debtor. After taking their revenge, the karmic creditors will be brought back to the Underworld by the Black and White Enforcement Officers to wait for a review of their cases. The rules and regulations of the Underworld are very strict. The spirits will be punished if they fail to adhere to the Underworld laws and cause troubles in the human world. Every spirit is required to obtain the approval of the Underworld prior to their return to the human world to get revenge.”
Offender A said, “My wife in the human world was in the dark about what I had done. After I died, the King of Hell ordered the enforcement officers to throw me into the Unintermittent Hell to be punished. I howled and screamed in pain every day. My death prompted my wife to think that Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door wasn’t efficacious as it failed to save my life, so she quit the practice and stopped reciting sutras. Now I have nobody to help me ascend to a higher realm.” Offender A was crying.
The King of Hell pointed at the other offender and angrily demanded, “XXX, confess yourself!” Offender B said, “My name is XXX of [Country Y]. I am also an overseas disciple of Master Jun Hong Lu. Master, I was wrong!” Offender B was wailing in agony.
Offender B continued, “I was one of the chief persons in charge of the practice centre in country Y. I became arrogant and I had myself to blame for causing my ruin! Originally, I had sufficient worldly blessings; I had my own business. When I first started practising Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, because I held some influence in my hometown, I managed to help many people become spiritually awakened. Eventually, I established a practice centre to propagate Guan Yin Citta with some local fellow practitioners. I hoped that all the people in my hometown could be saved by the Buddha-Dharma.
“Due to the fact that I had spiritually awakened a lot of people, I gradually became arrogant. As a result, I had disagreement with my fellow practitioners over matters related to promoting Buddhism. As a matter of fact, it was my fault as I didn’t properly follow up on the Master’s teachings. I was wrong! When it comes to cultivation, I focus only on my conduct but not my mind. It was because of my worldly blessings that I didn’t listen to my fellow practitioners’ advice, and the gulf between us grew wider. One time when I attended a Dharma convention overseas, the Master was outspoken and pointed out my shortcomings straight away. I appeared to heed his advice but in fact, I was very defiant in my heart.
“Instead of making a self-examination, I bore a grudge against my fellow practitioners over this incident. Later, I left the practice centre and gradually abandoned my cultivation and sutra recitations. After I quit, my inner demons began to form mental obstructions and delusions. I ganged up with other retreated practitioners to establish a website – ‘Anti-Guan Yin Citta – A heretic Buddhist cult’. I distributed leaflets and successfully convinced many people to abandon their cultivation. In the end, I died in a car accident.”
The King of Hell showed the related scenes on the display, and I saw the offender speeding on a rainy day. Suddenly the car skidded, and he lost control of the car. As a result, the vehicle rammed into a pedestrian refuge island and he became unconscious. There weren’t any passing cars throughout that night. It wasn’t until the next morning before someone reported to the police and he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. As he fell unconscious for too long due to excessive loss of blood, all rescue efforts proved futile and he died.
Offender B said, “After I died, the King of Hell sent me straight to the Unintermittent Hell to be punished. I know that I was wrong! I was very wrong!”
The King of Hell from country Y said, “Pathetic! Just because of a ridiculous reason, you quit your cultivation and that is your choice. But you went further and discourage other people from practising, causing them to commit grave offences too. Guan Yin Citta is Right Dharma in the universe. Ordinary people may not know about it, but you were Buddhists who were already blessed by the Buddha and knew of the teachings of the Buddha, can you claim that you don’t know about the Five Great Misdeeds and the Four Great Prohibitions? Defaming Buddhism and Right Dharma is considered one of the Five Great Misdeeds and the Four Great Prohibitions.”
“It’s no use weeping and crying in front of me now. The Underworld mete out punishment according to the law. This Heavenly Child holds a decree from Guan Yin Bodhisattva, allowing her to watch the trials in the Underworld and share her accounts with the human world. You won’t be released from hell until there are formal announcements from heavens.”
Afterwards, the King of Hell from country Y ordered the enforcement officers to escort the offender back to the Underworld courts of his own country. I then received the King of Hell’s permission to return to the human world.
The Master Jun Hong Lu’s reply:
Do you all see it now? I know these two deceased disciples involved in the cases mentioned above. It’s because I’m constantly in Heaven, I receive news about who’s going to die, and I’m requested to give blessings to save their lives. When I look into it, I know that it’s no use. Do you all see? I’ve repeated time and again that you must learn and practise well. Yet there are people out there still defame Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door! I’ve told you repeatedly that Guan Yin Citta belongs to Right Dharma, it is passed down by Guan Yin Bodhisattva. If you don’t want to learn then you can choose not to, but why defame it? Those who do so clearly have issues!
Everything she said is true. Spirits must obtain the permission from the King of Hell before they are allowed to return to the human realm. That’s why when people enter into a coma, they are in a vegetative state. Their spirit is in the Underworld. Without the King of Hell’s permission, they can’t return. Even if that they are given oxygen to stay alive, they will still remain in a vegetative state. But they themselves wouldn’t know anything about that. Now, do you all understand?
What’s the point of making up stories? I’ve constantly told you to be careful but you don’t listen, and it will be too late to realise everything when you die. Do you think that everything written here is fake? Could somebody fabricate such detailed depictions? It’s no joking. All of these cases must be compiled into a book so that more people will be aware of what happens in the Underworld. There are still many people who don’t even realise how they will die.
