THE ADDITIONAL AMITABHA PURE LAND REBIRTH MANTRA RECITED DURING MENSTRUATION CAN BE REGARDED AS PART OF THE ADD-ON RECITATION PERFORMED DURING THE WINTER SOLSTICE PERIOD
Question: From Winter Solstice till the third day of Lunar New Year, one may recite up to three batches of 49 or 108 repetitions of the Amitabha Pure Land Rebirth Mantra (Wang Sheng Zhou) each. One of the batches can be counted as daily recitation, while the other two for self-cultivation purposes. For ladies who recite additional 49 repetitions of the said mantra during their menstruation, can their recitations be regarded as part of the three batches of recitation performed during the Winter Solstice period?
Answer: Yes.
