RECITE MORE EIGHTY-EIGHT BUDDHAS GREAT REPENTANCE DURING YEAR END AS IT HELPS ELIMINATE SUBSTANTIAL KARMIC OBSTACLES
Question: The end of year is upon us and we have read discourses on reciting more Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance (LIFO). A fellow Buddhist practitioner shared that the karmic obstacles that can be eliminated through the recitation of 87 times of LIFO on Lunar New Year’s Eve are equivalent to the effect of about 20 Little Houses. Is it right to say so?
Answer: Basically, in terms of the elimination of karmic obstacles, 87 times of LIFO equate to offering 21 Little Houses.
