Caller: A Buddhist practitioner would like to know how many days prior to Ching Ming Festival is it more appropriate to perform tomb sweeping for those who are unable to be at the cemetery on the day?
Master Jun Hong Lu: You may do so one month or so prior to the festival. It does not mean that you have to visit the tomb on the day. In fact, you can perform tomb sweeping in advance.
