BODHISATTVAS WILL VISIT THE HUMAN REALM ON MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL – A SOLAR TERM RECOGNISED BY HEAVEN AND EARTH

Caller: The Mid-Autumn Festival that falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month is fast approaching. From a metaphysical perspective, is it true that on this day, countless Bodhisattvas and Dharma Protectors will be visiting the human realm?

Master Jun Hong Lu: Yes, they will. As the Mid-Autumn Festival is a solar term recognised by heaven and earth, Bodhisattvas will descend to the human realm on this day. After all, this day also coincides with the 15th day of the lunar month and just like the first day of each lunar month, the Bodhisattvas will visit the human realm. According to legends, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time when the Bodhisattvas will grant reunion of families.
