VEGETARIANS HAVE A LOWER RISK OF GETTING CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES AND CANCER
Master Jun Hong Lu: Vegetarians have a lower risk of getting cardiovascular diseases. Research also shows that vegetarianism is beneficial for blood pressure, it reduces the risk of diabetes and cancer, and improves our digestive health.
As a matter of fact, it is not easy for meat to be digested in the human body, and it gets clogged up easily in our intestines. This is precisely how colon cancer comes about. Conversely, vegetarian food gets digested easily and hence, it has the effect of improving our digestive system. Vegetarians generally have good skin and a cheerful demeanour. On top of this, they have a lower risk of developing osteoporosis.
