DO NOT HESITATE TO DISPOSE OF NON-VEGETARIAN FOOD
Question: During my company outings, non-vegetarian food was provided for lunch. I gave it to my colleagues since I am a vegetarian. Is it proper to do so?
Answer: It is best not to give non-vegetarian food to others. Do not hesitate to throw it away. Otherwise, if one consumes the non-vegetarian food and develops a liking for the taste, he may not practise vegetarianism in the future. This may lead to an increase in his karmic obstacles as well.
