HOW TO PRAY TO BODHISATTVA TO PLEA FOR AN EXTENSION IN THE OFFERING OF LITTLE HOUSE
Caller: Sometime around the end of May, a Buddhist friend was reminded by his karmic creditors in his dream to repay about 2400 Little House before September. He has been praying at the practice centre everyday; seeking the blessings of Bodhisattva, making great vows, transferring meritorious blessings and has completed the recitation of 2 batches of 108 times Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance where he had sincerely repented. He has also been very diligent in the recitation of Little House; however, the number of Little House stipulated was just too substantial.
This Buddhist friend would like to pray for Bodhisattva’s compassion, to help in extending the deadline in the offering of Little House. Master, may I know how to make this prayer?
Master Jun Hong Lu: How do we make such a plea to Bodhisattva? Just speak frankly and be straightforward. There is nothing to hide, just tell Bodhisattva in a straightforward manner. Regard Guan Yin Bodhisattva as our heavenly mother. In fact, she knows everything.
Caller: Yes, Master, Bodhisattva is indeed compassionate.
