Master Jun Hong Lu: In Buddhism studies, why should we be single-minded and diligent in our method of cultivation?
Once you have identified the dharma door that is most suitable for you, it is important that you must learn and cultivate the teachings, and cultivate yourself with diligence and steadfastness.
This is just like entering a university, it is impossible for us to learn all of the hundreds of disciplines. We can only set our mind and focus on learning a subject that can allow us to successfully graduate and benefit from it in depth, a subject that can lead to personal tranquillity and growth. Only then will we be able to learn well, gain expertise in the field, and finally become a learned person.
