THE GIVING OF DHARMA IN NON-BUDDHISM CHAT GROUPS SHOULD BE DONE IN MODERATION AND WITH CONSIDERATION
Question: Master mentioned previously that there will be karmic obstacles if we stop others from performing the Giving of Dharma. What about asking fellow practitioners to post less in those chat groups created for different interests and are not Buddhism related? Would there be any karmic obstacles?
Answer: In this regard, it is not referred to as karmic obstacles. However, you may tell all Buddhist practitioners that, “When you go about propagating the dharma via social media, it has to be done the correct way. You should not go overboard because if you do, you may end up frustrating others and this is when karmic obstacles are generated”. In this case, you are not stopping them from sharing the dharma. What you are basically doing is teaching them a skillful alternative to do so.
Question: Thank you Master, for your advice.
