THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KARMIC FORCE AND SHORTCOMINGS
Caller: Master, how do we differentiate karmic force from shortcomings?
Master Jun Hong Lu: Karmic force is the result of all the karmas committed in your past and present lives. After a prolonged period, these karmas transform into a form of force that is called “karmic force”. Shortcomings, on the other hand, are manifestations that take shape as the karmic force develops.
Caller: We are able to eliminate the karmic force through the recitation of the Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance and Little Houses, but how do we overcome our shortcomings?
Master Jun Hong Lu: It is equally important to rectify your shortcomings. This is because shortcomings are formed at the initial stage if you keep failing to recognise your flaws.
