FOLLOWING UP WITH BUDDHIST PRACTITIONERS BY SHARING THE BUDDHA’S TEACHINGS WITH THEM IS ALSO AN ACT OF ‘HELPING OTHERS TO AWAKEN SPIRITUALLY’
Caller: When we talk about helping others to awaken spiritually, it usually means to introduce Buddhism and Guan Yin Citta to new Buddhist friends and teach them how to recite Buddhist scriptures.
However, if we follow up with existing Buddhist practitioners by sharing the Buddha’s teachings with them to boost their confidence in learning Buddhism, is it generally considered as helping others to awaken spiritually?
Master Jun Hong Lu: It’s the same. As long as we help and persuade others to start learning Buddhism, cultivate spiritually and perform recitation, these are all considered helping others to awaken spiritually.
Caller: Does it mean when we help someone who already knows Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is also considered helping others to awaken spiritually?
Master Jun Hong Lu: Of course it is.
