AVOID LISTENING TO THE BUDDHA’S TEACHINGS WHILE LYING DOWN
Question: It is said that if someone listens to the Buddha’s teachings while lying down, they will reincarnate as a snake in their next life. Is this true?
Answer: If one makes it a habit to listen to the Buddha’s teachings while lying down (as this is considered an act of disrespect), they will be reborn as animals. However, if one does so right before bedtime, it is definitely not a problem.
