ALL RELATIONSHIPS HAVE LINKS BACK TO ONE’S PAST LIVES
Master Jun Hong Lu: Do you know what the most common thing I see through totem reading? Many mothers and sons were couples in their past lives.
Once, a couple came to see me in my office, and during our conversation, they started to quarrel. I told them that they would never go their separate ways despite their endless quarrels because they have a lifetime of negative affinities. This is what happens to many couples as long as their karmic grievances remain unresolved. I then saw that in their past lives, the husband had a tendency to kick his wife. I asked them whether it was true in this life every time they quarrelled. The wife responded, “That’s right, Master. He kicks me every time we quarrel”. I could tell that their spousal roles were completely reversed in their past lives, with the current wife having played the role of a husband in her past life.
In a nutshell, karmic grievances are inherent in every interpersonal relationship. Wrongdoings committed over an extended period in past lives are carried forward to this life. However, many people refuse to budge despite knowing they are karmically indebted to the other party, they will still ask, “Why should I listen to him?”, “Why should I be the one to suffer?” I can see their past, but they cannot, and hence, humans are pathetic and pitiable.
