UPDATE: RECITING THE GREAT COMPASSION MANTRA, THE HEART SUTRA AND SAPTA ATITABUDDHA KARASANIYA DHARANI 100,000 TIMES
Question: Can recitation of sutras and mantras in Little Houses, which are offered to the deceased, based on one’s voluntary decision not because of a dream, be counted towards the vow to recite 100,000 times?
Can we include recitation of Little House’s sutras and mantras in the vow of reciting 100,000 times of sutras and mantras?
Answer: No. Recitation of Little Houses offered to the deceased, regardless of whether they appear in your dream or not, cannot be counted towards the target of 100,000 recitations.
