RECITE QI FO MIE ZUI ZHEN YAN IF YOU HAVE COMMITTED MISDEEDS OR SAID FOUL WORDS
Question: Master Lu once mentioned in the radio program that one may be blessed with peace and good luck through reciting Qi Fo Mie Zui Zhen Yan, how should we state our prayer for that?
Answer: You may pray for dissolution of calamities, peace, as well as elimination of karmic obstacles. A general prayer such as, ‘I have committed some misdeeds, may Bodhisattva forgive me’. This may be better. For instance, if you happened to have a wrongful thought or accidentally said some foul words, you may immediately recite one or three times of the Qi Fo Mie Zui Zhen Yan; the karmic obstacles will then be eliminated.
