PERFORMING RECITATION WHEN SWEEPING OR MOPPING FLOOR
Question: Master mentioned that we can only recite Mantra To Untie Karmic Knots when dumping rubbish. May I know whether the same applies when we are sweeping or mopping the floor? Could we recite other sutras or mantras?
Answer: It is all right to recite other sutras or mantras when sweeping or mopping floor. This is because there is more filth involved when dumping rubbish.
Question: How about when we discard the dirty water after mopping the floor, is it all right to recite other sutras or mantras?
Answer: It doesn’t matter.
