(Master Jun Hong Lu’s call-in radio program)
IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO OFFER EIGHTY-EIGHT BUDDHAS GREAT REPENTANCE IN SELF-CULTICATION FORM TO OTHER BUDDHIST PRACTITIONERS
Caller: A Buddhist practitioner has saved some Eighty-eight Buddhas Great Repentance in self-cultivation form. Can he offer it to other Buddhist practitioners in need?
Master Jun Hong Lu: I would not recommend this. At the point of recitation, it was all about the reciter’s karmic debts. In his mind, the reciter was repenting his own wrongdoings and the “ownership” was already established at the time. As such, it is inappropriate to offer it to others as doing so may result in others sustaining his karma.
Caller: That’s right.
Master Jun Hong Lu: Don’t do it. You may offer help in other ways such as Little Houses. However, the Eighty-eight Buddhas Great Repentance in self-cultivation form is definitely not recommended.
Caller: I shall remind the Buddhist practitioner.
