DO NOT VISUALISE THE PERSON YOU ARE HELPING WHEN RECITING THE MANTRA TO UNTIE KARMIC KNOTS
Question: Can I visualise my son when I recite the Mantra to Untie Karmic Knots (Jie Jie Zhou) in order to resolve negative karmic ties with him?
Answer: It is not advisable to do so, as you will invite trouble if there is a foreign spirit with him. It is through the power of Bodhisattva, and not your imagination, that causes the recitation to be effective. As soon as you visualise your son, the foreign spirit connected to his body will come over to you.
