Master Jun Hong Lu: “Do bear in mind that you should consume more kelp because it contains iodine.  Kelp, consumed in large amount, helps prevent hyperthyroidism. Any abnormality in the thyroid gland will result in the instability of many cells in the body, which in turn may cause cancer, it is as simple as that. That’s the reason why I love to eat kelp salad. Every once in a while, I will have it tossed with some vinegar, sugar etc. You may also stir fry or make soup with it. It is delicious either way.”
