KITCHEN FENG SHUI
Master Jun Hong Lu: Kitchen is regarded as an inauspicious space, because it’s where you see knives and flames. Therefore, it is advisable to only cook in the kitchen when you are emotionally calm and stable.
If you happen to be in the middle of an argument, it is best that you not turn on the stove and start cooking as this will potentially fuel your anger, leading you to smash the pots and pans. There is an old Chinese phrase, “To smash the pot and pans”, do you have any idea what it means? It means a major mishap is about to blow up. It is akin to the pots and pans in your house being smashed which denotes how easily a person’s anger is intensified along with the heated-up pots.
After an argument, it is best to take a breather outside. You should avoid cooking during an emotional outburst in any circumstances because you’ll become angrier the more you think about it. As the food gets heated up, your temper will rise in tandem, and you’ll end up in arguments that might get yourself into a bigger trouble.
