(Master Jun Hong Lu’s Call-In Radio Program)
FEELING A SENSE OF GRIEVANCE WHILE RECITING THE EIGHTY-EIGHT BUDDHAS GREAT REPENTANCE IS A SIGN OF NEGATIVE KARMA BEING ELIMINATED
Caller: We usually feel remorse when reciting the Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance. However, a fellow Buddhist friend was once overcome with a feeling of injustice when the sudden thought came to her of how she was bullied by her husband during pregnancy. Another Buddhist friend also felt a particular sense of grievance while reciting the Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance. How do we explain this Master Lu?
Master Jun Hong Lu: It is a sign the matter is drawing to a close. If a sense of injustice arises while reciting the Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance in front of Bodhisattva, it denotes the matter has come to an end.
Caller: Wow, that’s great!
