AWARDED 10 TIMES MORE ANNUAL BONUS AFTER RESOLVING CONFLICT WITH SUPERIOR
In 2015, I was transferred to the project management unit and was tasked to manage project bidding. Lacking relevant experience, I became an easy target for my superior, who refused to assign me any projects. Not surprisingly, my annual bonus and pay rise were reduced in the first year. Faced with this, I decided to put my knowledge of Buddhism into practice. From then on, regardless of the size of a project, I gave my best effort, and used the lull period to perform recitation.
As and when my superior picked on me, I would let her have her way, and while simultaneously, I would recite the Mantra to Untie Karmic Knots to resolve our karmic conflict. Unexpectedly, when the company demanded us to slash costs. Having successfully solicited help from several manufacturers, I topped the team in terms of cost reduction. My boss and colleagues were pleasantly surprised by my achievement, I became a valued employee, and was awarded an annual bonus that was 10 times greater than the previous year. What’s even better is that my boss noticed the change in me and praised Buddhist teachings.
