We talked about preventing any leakage of our good fortune as it is a very dreadful thing to happen. It is as though, you are working very hard to earn money but you are also spending money at the same time. At times, when the leakage gets out of hand, it is equivalent to overspending; no matter how much you may earn, you remain a pauper. We must learn to preserve our good fortune; do not allow any leakage to take place. We must not only guard our good fortune but also to ensure its unceasing augmentation. Do not allow it to leak. Once there is leakage, you will be in trouble as your karmic rewards will all be emptied.
