Master Jun Hong Lu: Why are Buddhist practitioners less likely to violate the law or make mistakes? This is because we understand that there will be a retributive effect for every cause that we sow.
Why are Buddhist practitioners more likely to live a long life? This is because we understand the value of clean-living and honesty in shunning trouble.
As such, Buddhist practitioners are different, and it is thanks to our good fortune that we are able to learn Buddhism.
