LEARN TO SAY “NO”
Master Jun Hong Lu: ‘Puff oneself up at one’s own expense’ — this is an extremely important message for the younger generation. When you find things to be beyond your capability, you will have to pluck up the courage to say NO. Otherwise, you will land yourself in more trying situations. Choosing to say “NO” is an act of self-respect. It is through self-respect that we earn respect from others. Conversely, if we hide behind our ego, we will become more reliant on others and add on to our own burden at the same time. Think about it, just how many people choose the road to ruin in life because of their ego?
