My health has been poor, especially in the recent years. At a tender age of 18 or 19 years old, I was diagnosed with congenital proteinuria (excessive protein in the urine). Things got worse when I reached 27 or 28 years old.
I started to have haematuria (presence of blood in the urine) and swelling, and started to lose my ability to walk. Everywhere I go, I will need the help of others to ferry me around. In general, a laboratory report reading of 0.5 point is considered as testing positive for proteinuria and my report shows 2,000 to 3,000 points. In the medical field, there isn’t any effective treatment to resolve it. The only thing they can do is simply to control and reduce symptoms of the illness. I knew in my heart that if this goes on, I will end up having to go for dialysis.
In addition, a few years back, I was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer, and had undergone 2 major operations to remove lymph nodes in the neck. I used to have lots of health issues and had been receiving negative results for all my medical reports in the past.
In October 2015, I felt amazed when I saw Master Lu performing totem reading on Youtube. I witnessed many people being cured of their illnesses and thought it was miraculous. As such, I hurriedly began my recitations.
I started to offer Little Houses in 2016, on the first day of the fourth lunar month and completed 456 Little Houses in three and a half months. Performing recitations had helped to awaken me spiritually. On the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month, I made a vow to practise vegetarianism. At the same time, I made a vow to offer 5,000 Little Houses to the karmic creditor of my illness.
I wake up at around 4am and start my daily recitation of Buddhist scriptures at 5am daily. Basically I sleep for less than 6 hrs per day. From around 6am to 7am, I will start my recitation of Little Houses daily. Every day, I merely spent a few minutes taking my meals and on average, I spent about 16 hours per day performing recitations. After persisting for 11 months, I completed more than 2,000 Little Houses. After 4 years, I have recited more than 9,700 Little Houses.
About 2.5 years ago, I dreamt of my deceased father. He was a Chinese physician. In my dream, he was constantly prescribing medications for my kidney disease. He spent the whole night but was still unable to produce the prescription. When it was close to dawn, I dreamt that Guan Yin Bodhisattva flew in from the window and told me to cook Chinese barley into porridge with an electric slow cooker. I have been drinking it since. I knew in my heart that Guan Yin Bodhisattva was here to save me!
In 2018, I went to collect my medical report for my kidney disease. Before that, I had a dream which depicts that I will be getting a favourable outcome from the report. At that moment, I was thinking that if the reading for my proteinuria can be reduced to 600 or 700 points, I would be overjoyed; taking into consideration that all my previous readings had always been a few thousand points.
To my astonishment, the readings turned out to be 0! This means that my reading has normalised. The congenital kidney disease that had bothered me for more than 10 years is suddenly cured! Even doctors find it to be unbelievable. It is simply incredible. This is the miraculous power from the scriptures and the Dharma!
Prior to these reports, I had reports that indicated my readings for proteinuria had never fallen below a few thousand points, and I simply threw them away the minute I stepped out of the hospital. I only retained this copy with readings of over 1,000 points as it served as a form of consolation for myself.
Recently, when I went to collect my report at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, I broke two records. Firstly, my cholesterol levels have always been high, but they have decreased and normalised! This is a rarity. Secondly, my triglyceride levels had increased by 10 times, normalising after 6 months. This is also a rarity. Deepest gratitude to Guan Yin Bodhisattva.
I am truly grateful towards Guan Yin Bodhisattva, the volunteers and most importantly Master Lu. The dharmakaya (法身) of Master had appeared in my dreams several times.
A few years ago, I was 43 years old. Two months before that, I dreamt of an earthquake and was warned by fellow practitioners to be extra careful. Unexpectedly, on the day, I sprained my back when I woke up in the middle of the night. It was so serious that I was unable to move at all. I was worried sick about how I would get out of bed tomorrow. On the same night, Master Lu entered my dream, treated my injury and it was cured when I woke up the next morning. On another occasion, I was hit by a very serious flu. Similarly, I was once again treated by Master Lu in my dream and was fully recovered on the next day.
Ever since I started practising Dharma, there are many effectual things that happened to me. I have dreamt of Master Lu coming to my rescue many times. After I started performing recitations, I dreamt of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (Pu Xian Pusa) removing 20 needles from my body; prior to a Public Talk, I dreamt of Guan Yin Bodhisattva giving me a discourse on how helping sentient beings could help accrue enormous amount of merits and woke up feeling a warm sensation all over my body. I am delighted that I was accepted as Master Lu’s disciple during the 2017 Public Talk held in Singapore.
After I returned from the disciple initiation ceremony held in Singapore, I kept having dreams of Master Lu. Once, I dreamt of him explaining incessantly on stage and he was swarmed by crowds who were trying to go on stage. Throughout the entire period, he kept blessing the crowd. I could feel that he was extremely exhausted.
On another day, I dreamt that Master Lu brought me to visit a laboratory in heaven. He was very anxious when he saw a barrel of oil. He carried the barrel on his back, causing his body to arch forward. In my dream, I told him that it was hard on him. Everyone shares the same sentiment that Master Lu had helped to bear lots of our karmic debts. I am truly grateful towards him!
After practising Dharma, I have learnt to treasure things around me and changed my temperament. There is a great disparity between practising and not practising Dharma. The vast changes in me and significant improvement in my health condition are prominent to my family members. They too, felt that Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is simply miraculous. As a result, I managed to help my husband, my father-in-law, my sister, my brother-in-law and my nieces and nephews to awaken spiritually. They have all started Dharma cultivation!
I was most delighted when I managed to help my sister. I used to have a very close relationship with my sister. However, our relationship turned sour over a matter about two years ago, and we stopped seeing each other since. This has been my greatest regret in life.
After I started Dharma cultivation with Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, I have been thinking that it would be great if I could help my sister. It was my wish to help her and to get her to practise vegetarianism, recite Little Houses and perform recitations. Due to our close relationships in the past, I had offered many Little Houses to help untie our karmic knots.
After I burnt the first batch of 5 Little Houses, I dreamt of Master telling me that I will no longer be in debt after the settlement. Three months later, I dreamt of my sister and we reconciled with a handshake and peace talk. After I woke up, I wished in my heart that the dream could be real.
To my surprise, my sister called to reconcile with me about a week later. I showed her the video of Master Lu performing Totem readings and persuaded her to practise Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. She was the fastest among the rest to accept and her children set up an altar at home subsequently. My sister had also started practising vegetarianism and completed more than 2,000 Little Houses. I am truly exhilarated! Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is indeed a very efficacious Dharma Door!
