WHAT YOU SOW MAY NOT BEAR FRUITS IMMEDIATELY

Master Jun Hong Lu: As Buddhist practitioners, for every ‘Amitabha’ we recite, we are sowing the seed of kindness in us. However, it may not bear fruits immediately.

It is the same when we pray to Guan Yin Bodhisattva to help relieve us from various calamities, its efficaciousness will not be felt immediately too.

There comes a day, when the time is right, you will walk into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. There comes a day, when the time is ready, that all your worries will be gone.

As long as you are practising compassion, performing recitations and diligently sowing the seeds of kindness everyday, you will definitely be able to savour the ‘fruit’ one fine day. “As certain as flowers must bloom one day”, you too, will be able to be liberated from worldly sufferings one day.
