THE BAR FOR DISCIPLESHIP WILL BE SET HIGHER IN FUTURE
Caller: A Buddhist friend dreamt of Master Lu telling him, “new disciples will now be chosen from amongst the elite”. Master Lu, what does this mean?
Master Jun Hong Lu: In future, the requirements for discipleship application will increase greatly. They will need to be people who are diligent in learning and spiritual cultivation. This is not something that is open to everyone. In the past, it was open to the masses and one could become a disciple if they had the will and fulfilled some basic requirements. In future, it will become harder to be a disciple as far too many existing disciples do not cherish this easily obtainable status. Do you understand?
Caller: Yes, Master. Many sent emails to the secretariat applying for discipleship. Is it true that Dharma Protectors will be on alert the moment they apply, investigating each applicant thoroughly?
Master Jun Hong Lu: Indeed, as long as you have the intention to apply, Dharma Protectors will be there to help you or manage the process.
Caller: If Dharma Protectors believe that an application should be approved, they will send that notion to the evaluator. Is this the case?
