Caller: Master Lu, next Saturday will be the Lantern Festival (Yuanxiao Festival). From the Buddhist point of view, which sutras or mantras that we should recite more on this day?
Master Jun Hong Lu: The Lantern Festival is traditionally a day of reunion. I hope that everyone can recite more times of the Heart Sutra (Xin Jing) to gain wisdom.
Caller: Up to how many times we can recite the Heart Sutra?
Master Jun Hong Lu: It doesn’t matter. I think it doesn’t matter to recite more times of the Heart Sutra and the Great Compassion Mantra (Da Bei Zhou).
