(Master Jun Hong Lu’s call-in radio program)

THE “SPIRITUAL CODE 7829” IS ANOTHER COMBINATION OF BUDDHIST SCRIPTURES

Caller: Master, there is a recent discourse shared which says, in the event of an emergency, we can apply the “Spiritual code 7829” which is made up of 7 x Great Compassion Mantra; 8 x Heart Sutra; 2 x Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance; 9 x Jvala Mahaugra Dharani (Xiao Zai Ji Xiang Shen Zhou). Can this be used in general or for the specific case only?

Master Jun Hong Lu: Either is fine. In fact, this code “7829” is very efficacious… When there’s something that you can’t figure out that makes you suffer, try it out, “7829”.

Caller: I see. So this is another method shared by Guan Yin Bodhisattva?

Master Jun Hong Lu: Yes!  Just like the combination of Buddhist scriptures in Little House, “7829” is another combination. In reality, what does this mean? Besides being a combination of Buddhist scriptures mentioned earlier, when you recite these Buddhist scriptures in the face of a difficult situation, it is the same as how you would add salt, sugar and food enhancer, etc. when cooking up a dish.

For instance, when faced with a situation, it is akin to being hungry– I should not be serving you only buns without other dishes nor solely serving you other dishes without any buns to go with it. Do you understand this analogy?

Caller: I understand.
