Caller: In a radio program on May 19, Master advised a Buddhist practitioner to recite the Heart Sutra 10,000 times to eliminate the lumps. Is this applicable to all?
Master Jun Hong Lu: It is not really applicable to all, but there is a point in doing so. Generally speaking, your karmic obstacles can be significantly eliminated as long as you make a great vow. A vow to recite a Buddhist scripture 10,000 times is essentially a great vow. It signifies a resolution because most people won’t recite this much.
