THINGS TO NOTE WHEN PERFORMING LIFE LIBERATION ON THE ULLAMBANA FESTIVAL (ZHONG YUAN FESTIVAL)
Question: What should we take note of when we perform life liberation on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month (i.e. the Ullambana Festival or Zhong Yuan Festival)?
Answer: Perform life liberation as usual before dark. Say the prayer as you should prior to releasing the captive lives into the water, not the other way round.
