BY ADOPTING ONE’S NOMINAL AGE IN THE YEAR WHEN THEIR AGE ENDS WITH 3, 6 OR 9, WILL IT HELP ONE TO SHUN CALAMITIES?
Caller: In the year when the last digit of our age ends with a 3, 6 or 9, we would generally mention our nominal age (i.e. based on the traditional Chinese method of reckoning where a person’s age is one year at birth). For example, at the age of 29, we will tell others that we are 30 years old. Do you think this is a good way to help us avoid some disasters and calamities?
